Where Is Back Forty Studios Located?
Nestled in North Central Wisconsin outside of the quiet town of Nekoosa, and just outside of Wisconsin Rapids, we offer a private 620 square foot building (and expanding), with a dedicated drum and percussion room, ISO/Vocal booth, control room, and an artist lounge with refreshments, seating, and entertainment.

Here, at Back Forty Studios we prefer our pricing to be set by the complexity of the project, per single, EP, LP, or Full Length. We pay close attention to every client and the needs of the project. We also pride ourselves in giving a hand up to our clients and never want you to have to watch the clock. Here, you can focus on what matters most, your music.
Here, we are fans of good music and we welcome any and all genre’s. Although our most common genre here has been mostly rock, hard rock, and metal, we have also worked with rap, hip hop, country, and blue grass artists.
The amount of time each project takes depends on the project size, and other varying circumstances.
*Note*
Musicianship in the studio is extremely important and without certain skills (like playing to a metronome) it can, and usually will make the process a bit longer. (It's okay! We will still make it work)
